Clutter Cleanup, Hoarding Cleanup Or Organizing?
- Clutter cleanup is for homes where belongings have spread through the rooms but the home is still livable. We clear and clean.
- Hoarding cleanup is for homes where rooms can't be used, pathways are blocked or there are hazards.
- Organizing sets up what you're keeping with shelving, containers and labels, and can follow a clutter cleanup.
What A Clutter Cleanup Includes
- Clearing counters, floors, tables and surfaces
- Gathering and bagging trash and items you've decided to let go
- Hauling it away, if you add removal when you book
- Cleaning the home once it's clear: kitchen, bathrooms, dusting and floors
Clutter Levels
- Light: items on counters, toys and clothes around, a little organizing needed
- Moderate: clutter has spread through several rooms, with boxes and furniture partly blocked
- Heavy: a large amount of belongings, difficult access in some rooms, a lot of sorting
- Extreme: nearly every room affected, extensive sorting, and the job may take more than one day
If the home has blocked pathways, animal waste, structural damage or other hazards, it needs hoarding cleanup instead.
Add-Ons
Removal and haul-away, donation drop-off for usable items where accepted, and garage cleanouts. Once the home is clear, regular cleaning can keep it that way.
