When someone in your home or workplace has been sick, a regular cleaning can feel like it isn't enough. You want the rooms they used, and everything people touch, cleaned and disinfected properly before life goes back to normal.

EEB provides virus decontamination for homes, offices and other facilities across Nassau County, Long Island and New York City. We look at the space first, agree the scope with you, and then clean and disinfect it room by room.

1. Cleaning removes dirt, dust and grime from surfaces.
2. Sanitizing reduces the number of germs on a surface.
3. Disinfecting uses a registered disinfectant, applied according to its label, to treat surfaces after they've been cleaned.
4. Decontamination, as EEB uses the term, is a specialized service for situations that need more than routine cleaning and disinfection.

Cleaning comes first. Disinfectants work as intended on surfaces that have already been cleaned.

1. Inspection. We look at the rooms involved and discuss what happened and who uses the space. The visit is scheduled when the area can be safely accessed and serviced.
2. Plan and quote. You receive a written scope and price before any work starts.
3. Clean. Surfaces are cleaned to remove soil, starting with the affected rooms.
4. Disinfect. We apply disinfectant to high-touch points and affected surfaces, using EPA-registered products suited to the surface, applied according to the label, including contact time, ventilation and safety directions.
5. Finish and re-entry. We give you instructions for when the rooms can be used again, based on the products, ventilation and drying time.

At the inspection we'll recommend the level that fits your situation. Typical areas of attention include high-touch points, bathrooms, kitchens and the rooms that were affected.

Washable bedding and linens can be laundered according to their care labels.

Curtains, upholstery and other soft items are assessed by material; anything that can't be treated safely as part of the selected service may need a separate service or be left out of the scope.

Our job is to clean and disinfect your space carefully, using appropriate products and procedures. We don't promise to eliminate, prevent or cure any illness, or to protect anyone from a particular disease.

No cleaning service can make that promise. If you have health concerns, talk with your doctor or local health department.

Services may be performed or coordinated through qualified service professionals or providers, as appropriate for the particular service and project requirements.
