On a lot of Long Island streets, the cars are in the driveway because the garage is full. It starts with a few boxes that didn't have a place inside. Then come the bikes, the old furniture, the paint cans from three projects ago, the holiday decorations and the tools someone meant to sort. Years later there's a narrow path to the freezer and nobody wants to start.
EEB's garage cleanout handles it in one job. We sort through everything with you, take away what's going, clean the space and set up what stays so you can find it and use it.
We clear garages across Nassau County and the Town of Babylon, the rest of Suffolk County, and New York City.
What A Garage Cleanout Includes
- Sorting with you: everything is grouped, and you decide what stays, what's donated, what's recycled and what's discarded
- Hauling away what's going: junk, broken items and old furniture loaded and removed
- Donation and recycling: usable items dropped at donation and recyclables taken to recycling, if you add them
- Cleaning the space: once it's clear, the floor is swept or vacuumed and cleaned, and shelves and surfaces are wiped. Degreasing or oil-stain treatment can be quoted separately after we see the floor
- Setting up what stays: freestanding shelving, bins, zones and labels for tools, sports gear and seasonal items. Wall-mounted shelving installation is assessed separately
Decluttering, Organizing Or Both
Some garages just need clearing. Others are already pared down and need a system. You can book garage decluttering, garage organization, or both in the same job. For basements and attics, see storage organization.
Items That Need Extra Care
Old paint, chemicals, fuel, propane tanks and other hazardous materials can't go out with regular junk. Tell us about them, and any pressurized containers, when you book. Depending on the material, EEB may decline it, separate it, leave it in place, or arrange an appropriate qualified disposal option. Large items like old appliances, exercise equipment, tires and scrap metal can be removed too.

Garage cleanouts are priced by how long the job takes and how many people are working: the size of the garage, how full it is, and whether you want decluttering, organizing or both all affect that. Hauling, donation drop-off and recycling are added separately.
