Hoarder Cleaning Services in Long Island & NYC
Hoarder House Cleanup On Long Island And In Nyc
You may be standing in a house where the belongings have taken over: hallways down to a narrow path, rooms that can't be used, a kitchen nobody can cook in. Maybe it's a parent's home. Maybe it's yours, and you're ready. Maybe you're a landlord who just opened the door to a unit. Whatever brought you here, it probably took some effort to start looking.
EEB's hoarding cleanup is slow, careful work. We sort with you, remove only what's agreed, and clean as each space opens up. Nobody on our crew is there to judge how the home got this way, and we handle every hoarding cleanup with discretion, limiting unnecessary disclosure.
We help families across Nassau County and the Town of Babylon, the rest of Suffolk County, and New York City.

Hoarding Cleanup Levels
| Option | What it means |
|---|---|
| Level 1 (Minor) | Belongings are building up, but rooms are still usable |
| Level 2 (Moderate) | Several cluttered rooms, with heavy sorting needed |
| Level 3 (Heavy) | Room access is difficult and the work is significant |
| Level 4 (Extreme) | Pathways only, furniture buried, usually a multi-day project |
| Level 5 (Severe) | The most serious conditions or hazards; priced only after an on-site inspection |
When The Home Has Biohazards
Some hoarded homes include animal waste, sewage, spoiled food or other hazards. That part of the job is assessed in person and handled with the right precautions. Any sign of biohazards routes the job to an in-person assessment instead of an online price. EEB may perform, coordinate, arrange or refer qualified service professionals or specialized resources as appropriate to the project, based on scope, availability, qualifications, equipment, safety requirements and applicable law, and you still have one point of contact.
Junk and furniture removal is part of the same job.
What We Need From You
- The size of the home and which rooms are affected
- How full the rooms are, with photos if you can take them safely
- Whether there are pets, animal waste, spoiled food or other hazards
- Who makes decisions about belongings, and who will be there
- Any deadline: a sale, a lease, an inspection
What To Expect
Before
Levels 1 to 4 can be priced online after sign-in. Level 5, or any home with biohazards, starts with an on-site inspection. We agree on how items will be handled: keep, donate, recycle or discard.
During
We work room by room. You, or the family member you're helping, make the decisions; we don't throw things away on our own judgment. Valuables and important papers are set aside as they turn up.
After
Each cleared space is cleaned before we move on, so you can see progress. When the home is done, we walk through it with you.

How Your Price Is Worked Out
| Key pricing facts |
|---|
| Hoarding cleanup has its own pricing, separate from EEB's standard cleaning. |
| The price depends on the square footage of the home, the hoarding level, extra areas like a basement, attic or garage, how high items are stacked, extras such as storage containers or an inventory, and whether the job takes more than one day. |
| You have the full price before any work begins. |
