Career paths at EEB

Most people start in an entry role and grow as they learn. Each path shows the levels, what each level asks of you, and the potential pay range for that role. Moving up isn't automatic, and moving to a new level doesn't change pay by itself.

Cleaning path

How moving up works

Starting pay is $17.00/hr, or any higher rate the law requires for the assignment.
Your first months are an introductory period with paid training. Check-ins at about 30–60 days and 90 days review how you're doing; they are not raise dates.
Pay ranges for different levels overlap. Moving to a new level doesn't move your pay to the next range by itself.
Skills, duties, hours and hourly pay are decided separately. More hours don't automatically raise the hourly rate, and a higher rate doesn't come with more hours.
Raises and promotions are not automatic. They are based on sustained performance and company needs, and they take effect only when approved in writing. The first pay review is generally around 6 months; a review is not a guaranteed raise.
Employees are paid for hours worked as required by applicable law. Work schedules and additional hours are subject to management approval and company policy.

Employees may become eligible for discretionary compensation consideration after demonstrating sustained performance. EEB considers lawful job-related factors such as quality, productivity, reliability, attendance, skills, independence, customer service, responsibility, company needs, and business conditions. Published pay ranges show potential compensation and do not guarantee a particular rate or timeline. EEB will comply with applicable wage-and-hour and employment laws.
