What a 4-hour shift looks like
These are the standard targets once you're trained; they're a little lower while you learn. Quality counts more than volume: work that doesn't meet the standard doesn't count toward the target. EEB may update targets as the work changes, and meeting them doesn't by itself change pay.

- Works independently and knows when to ask for approval

Hours, pay and growth
| Stage | Typical timing | Hours / week | Pay |
|---|---|---|---|
| PT Level 1 — Introductory Administrative Employee | About 0–6 months | About 15/week | Starts $17.00/hr (or legal minimum, if higher) |
| PT Level 2 — Established Part-Time Administrator | Considered from about 6 months | 15–20/week, based on available work | Range $17.00–$17.50/hr (potential) |
| PT Level 3 — Independent Part-Time Administrator | Considered from about 12 months | 15–25/week, based on available work | Range $17.50–$18.50/hr (potential) |
| PT Level 4 — Senior Part-Time Administrator (Path A) | About 18–36+ months | About 20–29/week, based on business need | Range $18.50–$21.00/hr (potential) |
Time makes you eligible for a review. Performance and business need decide advancement, and EEB management approves it in writing. Ranges are potential pay and overlap, so moving to a new level doesn't move your pay by itself. Pay is hourly: EEB does not currently offer bonuses or commissions. Paid at least twice a month.
Full-time is a separate opportunity, not an automatic step. Full-time positions are created only when EEB has a continuing business need. Working extra hours for a while doesn't create full-time status, and part-time employees aren't required to be converted to full-time. See the full path on Career Paths.
